Externships @ AEH
Our busy ER is a great place to get exposure to ER medicine and determine if this is a career path you are interested in pursuing. On a daily basis, our doctors can see anything from patients in diabetic crisis to patients that require emergency surgery for GDV or hemoabdomen. Our externships focus on giving you hands-on real-world experience in all aspects of emergency medicine including triage, ICU case management, surgery, endoscopy, and more. Each externship is focused on an interactive approach, where you will get to work through cases side by side with an experienced ER professional.
